Community Spy is intended to be a place of sharing. Quite simply, it is a venue for your opinions about your community. As well, it is a place for researchers to learn about communities from those who know best—the people who live, work and interact within them!

Great! We’re glad to have you onboard. You are exactly the kind of content author we are looking for! As one of our “Community Spies,” you have the unique opportunity to share what is good (and what is not) in your community. Of course, there are some guidelines you’ll have to follow. That said, we endeavor to let you exercise as much free-speech as our lawyers will allow. The goal is for you to share facts about your community from the perspective of someone who lives, works or interacts within it. When writing your posts, try to keep in mind the kinds of things prospective community members might want to know. Aside from that, the floor is yours!

They know the lay of the land and have the street smarts to get you the inside scoop. Ask questions, hope for answers, and return the favor.
